Hello, my name is AUSONIA, and before being a cellar and even before being a wine, I am a butterfly, but not just any butterfly... I am a native lepidopterist, in the sense that I have always lived here and only here... on this land, in this wonderful strip of Abruzzo, fascinated by the characteristic climate and by the people who have decided to enhance the identity and sense of belonging to this place.

This is exactly how the Ausonia winery was born, with this spirit, thanks to the work and passion of Simone, a pharmacist who graduated from the Faculty of Viticulture and Oenology in Florence, and his wife Francesca, who, from 2008, decided to share the same dream and the same vocation: to produce a natural and lively wine, expressing in its taste a unique identity and the expression of a defined territory, that of Abruzzo, where biodynamic viticulture is favored by the excellent geographical position.
