Romano d'Ezzelino (Vicenza) - Veneto

TerraPrava was founded in Romano d'Ezzelino, in the rolling hills of Veneto, which Dante Alighieri mentions in Canto IX of Paradise. On the border between Bassano del Grappa and Asolo, two of Italy's most beautiful villages, there is a small green hill covered with maritime pines and oaks. This is where we planted our vines, olive and hazelnut trees, cultivate our fruit trees and small vegetable garden, and provide shelter for bees and chickens.

For us at TerraPrava, respect for nature is essential and the value of healthy, living soil is immeasurable.

At TerraPrava, we have a 14,000 m² vineyard divided between 8,000 m² of Souvignier Gris and 6,000 m² of Chardonnay, 12,000 m² of olive trees, 16,500 m² of hazelnut trees, 600 m² of ancient fruit trees, and various areas dedicated to horticulture.

The vineyards of the Terraprava farm are managed biodynamically. Human intervention accompanies the grapes as they ripen without any fertilization and without the use of synthetic products. It is no coincidence that we only mention hands and grapes on the label. Spontaneity and unforced growth are what we believe in to produce wines “as they used to be.”
