Paul Mazzolini
Chiusi (Siena) - Tuscany
Wine and nature as inspiration
At Borgo Melograno, music, art, and nature merge to create a unique place of creativity and inspiration. Here, wine is produced using traditional methods, nestled in the beauty of the Tuscan countryside.
The story
Gazebo, whose real name is Paul Mazzolini, was born in Beirut in 1960 and celebrated international success in the 1980s with global hits such as “I Like Chopin” and “Masterpiece.” As an artist, producer, and songwriter, he has been synonymous with elegance, creativity, and timeless music for decades.
Today, Mazzolini is starting a new chapter: in idyllic Tuscany, he has realized his vision with Borgo Melograno—a place where music, wine, and, last but not least, the art of living come together. The historic estate combines the tranquility of nature with the inspiration of art: a boutique winery, resident recording studio, and refuge for connoisseurs all at once.
Borgo Melograno – where nature, art, and tradition come together in a melody of good living.
Vision meets expertise
Danilo Marcucci, Umbrian through and through, is a visionary of natural wine. As a child, he learned traditional winemaking from his grandfather, far removed from modern additives and technology. Over decades, he gathered knowledge from legendary winemakers and developed a passion for pure, natural wines that authentically reflect tradition and region—a philosophy that fits perfectly where music, art, and wine converge.
Silent architect of natural wine
Today, Marcucci works with small, natural winemakers in Umbria, Trentino, and Abruzzo. Under his guidance, lively, authentic wines are created that are in harmony with the region and nature. What's more, he connects people, regions, and ideas. At Borgo Melograno, his expertise meets Paul Mazzolini's vision: a place where boutique winery and creative retreat come together harmoniously—wine, nature, and art in perfect balance.
