Alessandro and Lavinia gave up their jobs as managers in Milan in 2015 to become winemakers. They took over 6.5 hectares of vineyards in the Grave Friulano region from Alessandro's grandfather. The vineyards have been certified organic for 20 years, but only for the production of grapes. Alessandro began to cultivate the vineyard, reducing the yield and listening to the soil and its fruits with great care and humility. The wine-making techniques are simple, but the grapes are selected parcel by parcel to bring out the best in each one. The wines are exceptional without being extreme. The search for balance is a daily process.
