“I strongly believe in old native varieties grown in old vineyards. I maintain that wine is made in the vineyard, not in the cellar. My goal is to produce a highly digestible wine while respecting and protecting the land.” Davide Andreatta
Davide: an adventure that began as a game
Davide Andreatta is the CEO. In 2012, he entered the world of wine for fun, helping some friends and familiarizing himself with the various stages of wine production, from the field to the cellar.
In 2014, certain that he wanted to spend his life making wine, he rented a vineyard in Breganze. His immediate goal was to promote the native varieties he found in the vineyard: Vespaiola and Groppella, which proved to be more resistant than international grape varieties! He thus carried out a mass selection to select the best plants of these varieties.
Biodynamic agriculture, great care and attention to soil health. Breganze is a rich land, to be protected from invasive practices that would change its composition and very nature. In the cellar, only spontaneous fermentation is allowed, with no addition of sulfur dioxide.
