A classic red wine from the hills of Saluzzo: a 50/50 blend of Barbera and Chatus grapes. From the oldest vineyard with 70-year-old vines. This is the wine that our Barba (our uncle, the elderly farmer) would make. Fermented and aged in cement/steel.
Rich and savory fruit, but always with a nice acidity that makes it extremely enjoyable. Intense purple color, ripe fruit on the nose with hints of black cherry.
