Made from old Grenache (Cannonau) vines grown in Umbria, this authentic and captivating wine is slightly more subtle than its Sardinian counterpart from the same southern latitude, yet no less elegant, with delicate and complex notes ranging from raisins to clay.
This bottle of Conestabile della Staffa, too, contains “only grapes,” carefully cultivated with the help of horses from the family’s stable.
