- New
We harvest by hand in small baskets during the first ten days of October. The grapes are destemmed. The must ferments spontaneously with the whole grapes in steel vats. During maceration, we punch down and rack the wine if necessary. After bottling, the wine ages in the bottle for at least a year before being released for sale.
This is a fresh Montepulciano, very pleasant but not simple. It has a balanced structure, with notes of young, fresh red fruit and good aging potential.
Montepulciano is the king of Abruzzo wines, the best known and most popular. It is therefore probably the best interpreter of the specific terroir from which it comes.
