An orange wine made from Malvasia grapes, macerated on the skins for 22 days and fermented in vats. Luigi describes it this way: the first time he tasted an orange wine, ten years ago, he told himself that one day he would make one himself. Lepre is the fulfillment of that promise. It follows the same non-interventionist philosophy as the winery’s other wines, sourced from the same wild vineyards in Sogliano Cavour: here, it is the long maceration that gives the white wine the structure and amber color typical of orange wines, without the need for any further intervention in the cellar.
